Based in the village of Pidley and originally founded over 30 years ago. Pidley is on the edge of the Fens in Huntingdonshire, at its highest it is only 88 feet above sea level! The charity's name was created when a local villager's car broke down on a slople leading to the village. His rescuers pushed the car up the 'mountain' home.
Revived in 1999 the Mountain Rescue Team has made ove 250 rescues anbd raise around £15,000 annually, and averages 15-20 rescues per year.
